Petition in Support of Caucasian House

We would like to express our support for the oldest Peace Building Organization in Georgia and South Caucasus "The Caucasian House".  We have learned that Georgian government is planning to evict this organization from its building and effectively stop its activities in the South Caucasus.
We do know that Dr. Naira Gelashvili is an outspoken voice for Peace and Rights of National Minorities in Georgia.  She has articulated a vision of building Peaceful Caucasus that would overcome the divisions of "Nation-State System".  Her vision of non military Caucasus has been a very courageous act and her work for national and ethnic minorities deserves much credit.  Throughout last 20 years, Dr. Gelashvili has articulated a vision that would transform South Caucasus from the battlergond of confrontation between NATO and Russian Forces into the arena of Peaceful collaboration between different nations and civilizations.  Her work in defense of Abkhaz, Chechen, Ossetian, Vainakh, Kurdish and other minorities in the Caucasus has made her organization as one of the leading human rights organizations in the region.
We would like to encourage Georgian government as well as other South Caucasian governments to collaborate with the Caucasian House and instead of evicting this organization from their legitimate office to give Dr. Gelashvili and her colleagues the opportunity to serve South Caucasus.
We believe that the peaceful solution for all conflicts in South Caucasus is the only way to solve this problem constructively.
We hope that common sense will prevail and the Caucasian House will survive these difficult times.
